Hooded Merganser drake on the Staffs side of the Trent this morning (DSc)
Still present early afternoon at the confluence of the Rivers Trent and Dove, also present 3x Little Egret & 4x Oystercatcher (NJS)
Hooded Merganser showing again at Newton Solney on Staffs/Derbys border on the River Trent and junction with the River Dove at 17.00 (PJo)

2x White-fronted Geese still in field north west of the sailing lake at 07:15

The 1st winter Mediterranean Gull was in the gull roost, also adult and 2nd winter Yellow-legged Gulls roosted. 4 Shelduck and 2 Oystercatcher were at the west end. 5 Siskin were feeding in the ditch by the Chappell hide. An adult Peregrine flew over at dusk.Belvide Blog

Juv Iceland Gull in the roost also probable 1st winter Caspian Gull, 9x Waxwing flew over north.
