Common Crane feeding on stubble fields off Newlands Lane WS15 3JD 08:00hrs (M Chilvers) and present later in Tad Bay on and off during the day. Also Little Stint, 3x Ruff, Greenshank, 21x Dunlin, 27x Ringed Plover, 3x Wheatear, 20+ Yellow Wagtails, Little Egret, 4x Common Tern (SE&H)

The female Garganey was still at the west end. The first Goldeneye of the autumn was at the west end also a juvenile Shelduck and 311 Canada Geese were counted. Twenty Dunlin flew thru in small groups, also 4 Ringed Plover and one LRP were present. An imm Peregrine caught a Starling this morning, also a Hobby was noted. A Vis Mig watch off the dam between 0700-0800 hrs produced 110 Meadow Pipit, 178 Swallow, 74 House Martin, 5 Chaffinch and 2 Greenfinch. Belvide Blog
